Talk to someone who gets it.

Free and private. Start on WhatsApp or fill in a short form here. A real person from our team replies in working hours.

Our WhatsApp number opens with our pilot. The form takes about two minutes.

Tell us a little. Only what you want to.

  • A person replies in working hours, usually within one working day.
  • We use Ownsay’s own number. Never a personal phone.

Before you start.

Who is Ownsay for?
Our pilot is for adults aged 18 and over in Salford and Manchester, especially Black, Asian and other racially minoritised people who want support from someone independent.
What happens after I sign up?
A coordinator contacts you in the way you chose, has a short chat about what would help, and explains what we keep and who sees it. Then we suggest a peer.
What if I am not ready, or not eligible?
We still help. We can point you to other services, keep you on our waiting list, or simply leave it there. If you don’t go ahead, we delete your details after six months.
How do you use my details?
Only to support you, and never shared without your say-so. Read our privacy notice.
