Community voice
Your experience, heard by the people who run the services.
Tell services what it was really like, anonymously, in your own language. We make sure they hear it.

What you get.
Who it’s for
- Anyone who has used a mental health service, a GP, A&E, the police or a crisis team
- Families and carers
- NHS mental health trusts and commissioners who want to hear from communities they struggle to reach
Anonymous by design
Answers are stored with no name and no phone number. Names and numbers in what you write are hidden before anyone on our team reads it.
Five minutes, your language
Five to seven short questions on WhatsApp or the web. The web form is the most private option.
Reports that land
Each quarter we turn responses into themes and send a report to the trust. Small numbers are never shown, so nobody can be identified.
You said, we did
We publish what services changed because of what you told them.
How it works.
- 1
Tell us
Answer a few questions about a service you used, by WhatsApp or online.
- 2
We group it
Our team groups what people say into themes, by service and area.
- 3
Services hear it
Trusts receive a quarterly report they can act on.
- 4
You see what changed
We share what was done with your feedback.
For professionals
Our quarterly community voice reports support Part 3 of the Patient and Carer Race Equality Framework, which asks trusts to build feedback routes that hear from racialised communities. Counts under five are suppressed and quotes are masked.
Working with trusts and commissionersWhat the evidence says
PCREF is mandatory for NHS mental health trusts and part of how the Care Quality Commission assesses them. Its effect on outcomes is not yet proven, so we will report honestly on what changes.
Why nowGood to know.
