The secure platform behind trusted community support.
The Hub handles the admin and the evidence, so peers and mentors can spend their time with people. Other community organisations will be able to run their programmes on it too.

Every contact goes through the Hub, never a personal phone.

The Ownsay Hub
Records stored in London
Encryption, role-based access, a consent ledger, an append-only audit log and two privacy models.
AI helpers: translation, approved answers, plan drafts the person approves, feedback themes. Never listens, scores risk, advises or trains on client data.
Who sees what
The person
Owns their plan and their data
Services and partners
See it only with consent

Anonymised outcomes only
What’s inside the Hub.
Profiles and consent
One minimal record per person, and a consent ledger of who agreed to what, for whom, until when.
Matching
Rules per programme, with plain reasons. Cross-community by default for peer support.
Scheduling and reminders
Bookings, WhatsApp reminders with buttons, and lone working check-ins.
Plan builder and vault
Versioned plans, line-by-line approval, secure sharing and a wallet card.
Safeguarding
One-tap “I’m worried”, instant alerts, escalation timers and a clean case log.
Mentoring and transitions
Goals, 30-second check-ins, release-day plans and contact rhythms.
Community voice
Anonymous surveys, masking, themes and quarterly reports.
Reports and dashboards
Outcomes for funders and commissioners. Never names.
Partner spaces
Each licensed organisation gets its own walled-off space, name and number.
Two privacy models, enforced by the database.
Who can read what is decided by row-level security on every table, keyed on organisation and role. People don’t have to remember the rules: the platform keeps them.
Adults
Conversations stay between the person and their peer or mentor. Coordinators see when messages were sent, not what they say. Opening content needs a recorded reason, lasts 60 minutes, and is reviewed every month.
Under 18s
Every message between staff and a 16 or 17 year old is visible to the safeguarding lead. Young people are told this in plain words before they join. It switches on and off automatically from date of birth.
Our records are stored in the UK. Some suppliers process data abroad, under UK data protection safeguards, and we name them in our privacy notice.
Run your own programme on the same platform.
Partner spaces open in our platform phase, once the Hub has proved itself with our own pilot. Early partners help shape what we build.
Your data, walled off
Every row carries your organisation’s id. Cross-partner reads are tested on every release and must fail.
Your name, your number
Your own WhatsApp number and branding, connected inside the Hub.
Your team, your roles
Partner admin, coordinator, worker, safeguarding lead and viewer. Ownsay staff have no access by default.
Your programmes
Templates for peer support, mentoring, transition support and befriending, with forms you build without code.
Safety always on
Safeguarding, the consent ledger, audit log and crisis signposting can’t be switched off in any programme.
Leave with your data
A full export within 30 days, and deletion confirmed in writing.
Saves time on language and admin. Never decides about people.
What AI does
- Translates messages, with a clear label
- Turns voice notes into text, if you ask
- Turns your words into plan wording you approve line by line
- Answers questions only from our checked library
- Suggests matches for a coordinator to decide
What AI never does
- Listens to or records your conversations
- Gives counselling, clinical or crisis advice
- Scores your risk or judges you
- Makes final decisions about you
- Learns from your data
